We LOVE reorders! It would be nice to be able to take a completed sales order and turn it into a quote for situations where the reorder isn't quite yet firm but they need to see an updated quote for approval before ordering. It doesn't appear that there's any way to repeat a job and then assign it to a current opportunity. So the only workaround is to go back to the quote and repeat that. But since it may or may not have all the updated details from the SO, there's LOTS of room for error.

Many corporate clients ask for a quote on a previous order. It would be beneficial to have the ability to create a quote from a previous job instead of repeating a job and having a Job/Sales Order in Pending status for several weeks, sometimes months.

There are a lot of times that we need to do a repeat order but the client wants a quote first. If you never made a quote the first time you did the order, then you don't have a quote to repeat and you don't want to create a new repeat order yet because you have to change pricing etc. It would be nice to be able to click the REPEAT ORDER button and have the option to send it into quote form or just a straight repeat. Especially with apparel orders because pricing changes so often.

Not every repeat opportunity closes, being able to repeat a job into a quote status would allow for flexibility and less data entry

There are lots of times that customers want a new quote on a previous order. A lot of times there isn't an original quote done for those orders. It would be nice to be able to select an old order and repeat it as a quote so we can update pricing and send it out with the previous information already on it so we don't have to rekey in all of the decoration information or anything like that.

Currently, a quote cannot be duplicated from a Sales Order. However once an order is created, changes often occur on the SO, and simply duplicating the original quote may not reflect those updates. However, generating a quote from the Sales Order would ensure that all modifications are captured without requiring an immediate order creation. This approach would improve efficiency for repeat quotes, ensuring that changes made at the Sales Order stage are incorporated and reducing the risk of errors in future quotes.
